Top Hat Farms began in 2004 as a small family operation with a simple goal: to raise honest, hardworking cattle that reflect the values we live by. What started as a handful of animals has grown into a respected program rooted in integrity, stewardship, and a deep commitment to the land and livestock we care for.

Over the years, we’ve developed a strong foundation in registered Angus and Simmental cattle, producing animals that not only excel in the show ring but also perform in real-world conditions. Our cattle have competed successfully across the country, representing the quality, structure, and consistency we strive for in every generation.

Alongside our registered program, we raise commercial cattle built for the rugged realities of the West. These cattle are developed to thrive in harsh conditions while still maintaining the phenotype, look, and functionality that matter to producers. Longevity, maternal strength, and structural soundness are the cornerstones of our herd.
